Wendy Streeton
Chiropractor (Principle Chiropractor and Clinic Director)
After a 12-year career in the Ambulance Service, I left the NHS to become a chiropractor. I graduated from the prestigious Anglo European College of Chiropractic with a first class degree and then a master’s degree focusing on pregnancy related back pain.
At university I led a breastfeeding clinic for new parents and new-borns. This led to further training in treating newborns and babies with a variety of gentle muscular, skeletal and cranial techniques.
I have also undertaken post graduate study and training in neurology and treatment of the jaw. This had led to referral from local dentists who may identify issues clicking jaws or reduced opening.
I enjoy treating headaches, migraines and dizziness. I am proud of the many lives that have been changed as a result of cranial therapy as well as resolution of less common issues such as the debilitating condition BPPV (benign paradoxical positional vertigo) – crystals stuck in the inner ear.
Along with these special cases I am kept busy with the more common back, neck, shoulder, knee …… problems chiropractors see on a day to day basis.
When not at work, I’m out walking my lovely working cocker spaniel Willow, trying to grow my own fruit and vegetables. My study of Buddhism regular retreats and ordination training are also important to me and keep me grounded.
Kitty Mallorie
Chiropractor
My journey into chiropractic began as a teenager, after receiving treatment for sports-related injuries. This experience sparked a strong interest in health and wellbeing, leading me to study at Health Sciences University and complete my chiropractic training.
Alongside my chiropractic qualifications, I also achieved a Level 3 diploma in sports massage therapy, further developing my skills in recovery and rehabilitation.
During my studies, I gained special interest in the management of headaches and migraines, as well as jaw-related (TMJ) conditions. I also have a strong interest in working with older adults, helping to manage chronic pain and improve overall quality of life.
My approach to care is highly personalised, focusing on each individuals needs, goals, and lifestyle. My goal is to help patients feel more in their bodies and supported throughout their care.
Outside of clinic, I love spending time with my family and staying active through playing netball and golf. Staying connected, moving well, and making time for things I enjoy are all values I bring to my approach to patient care.
